Halloween brightens the night at Epsom Village

In theory, Halloween is meant to be a dark and scary festivity, but it turned out to be quite the opposite on Friday at Epsom Village. Their socially distanced parade was full of witches, monsters, and skeletons, but nobody was scared. Seeing their peers dressed up in such original costumes brightened the atmosphere at the village and brought some long-needed laughs.

The witch was one of the most popular costumes on Friday evening, with some residents spending a lot of time in designing their own dress. The village provided some hats and wigs to help the residents who needed some extra props.

Since not everybody is keen with the spooky themes, the village gave the residents absolute freedom to dress up in whatever they wanted. Thanks to that, the parade had lots of variety with a hippy lady from the seventies, a cowboy, and a even a Bat Cat.

One of the highlights of the parade was the participation by a few staff members, specially Laki and Les. They both got into the spirit of the party and tried to scare the residents with a very spooky catwalk performance.

After the parade the residents enjoyed a socially distanced happy hour in the village’s garden. Of course, the drinks and snacks were not served by ordinary staff. Instead they had a Bloody Chef and El Zorro himself as the creepy waiters.
